maybe hot take, most Pokemon games are kind of mid. they're all the same for the most part, and don't ever really shake things up or add harder difficulty levels.

I agree with this

It's the characters and Pokémon that keep me hooked, not really Champion Road

Plus, I do enjoy a good story but I think we can all agree that quality had been decreasing in terms of how good it is

wholly disagree, the story is one of the only things S/V did decent, and even PLA and SW/SH had story elements I liked. S/M/US/UM and B/W/B2/W2 were the best though.

I agree with Legends Arceus, but Sw/Sh I think was decent and S/V disappointed me because of the ending to some of them (but I will be honest and say the DLC had one of the best stories I've ever experienced!)

I guess the story of Z-A wasn't bad, but I wouldn't say there was anything good about it
