Yet you gloss over Amphibia and Gravity Falls. Owl House wouldn't be what it is without those two preceding it. There's also Ghost and Molly McGee that has scenes that make me laugh every time I watch it and I'm an old fart. Does help that the VA for Scratch did Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

As for Disney owning everything... Yeah that's why they're the evil Empire(pun intended). They've owned Pixar since May of 2006 and Cars came out June of that year. While it technically wasn't made by Disney, it and everything that came after it are Pixar films under the umbrella of Disney. Everything from the Incredibles and prior are films that weren't under Disney's ownership(even though they own the rights now).

I didn't expect to enjoy The Owl House due to that but usually being my style of television but one episode and I was hooked

They actually made a new season in 2025 and I expected it to be bad and unable to compare to the original seasons but it was actually really good!

I hope they make more new seasons soon

Amphibia has a bit of a slow burn before it gets hot if that makes sense. The best character dynamic in the series is Sasha and Grime. Mostly because Sasha comes from a broken family(parents divorced), so she acts out because of that and Grime gives her something she's never really had(a friend and father figure). Marcy or the other friend of Anne doesn't appear until Season 2 so again slow burn. The series is not for everyone I suppose but it's pretty good in my eyes, especially since David Keith voices the series Antagonist(minor spoiler there but it's kind of obvious). Not every day a series finale has a warning disclaimer.

As for Gravity Falls it's loosely based on Alex Hirch's Summer trip(s) and his own Sister(whom he portrays as Mabel). Alex had a notable influence on Owl House, hence why I said Owl House wouldn't be what it is without the series that came before it. Plus Bill is a good Antagonist.

As for P&F that's been a hit for awhile now. The issue with that show is finding new topics and notably getting the songs for it(that's the hard part).
