Sometimes I forget I'm not a young whippersnapper anymore 😂 My first shiny was a Geodude back in Crystal Gen II.

My first shiny was a random shiny Joltik I found in Pokemon White version!

Although before that, my little cousin found a shiny Zubat in Ilex Forest on my copy of SoulSilver that I let her start her own save file on after I'd already beaten the game, since she never had any Pokemon games or consoles of her own. But I don't really count that as my first shiny, it was hers.

So yeah, shiny Joltik in Pokemon White version!

Gyarados, and I'm surprised this isn't the case for almost everyone.

Besides Gyarados, the first shiny Pokémon I encountered was a pink Rhyhorn.

Pachirisu in Diamond. Caught her on the 9th chain (Gen 4 Pokeradar is an extremely underrated shiny hunting method btw. I highly recommend trying it out).
