Ice Shard still a reaction attack like it was in D&D(meaning I'd need someone to attack me in order to proc it) or does it simply deal D4 Ice Damage like before? Powder Snow feels like a given since all baby Alolan Vulpix start with it. What would the debuff moves do by chance? Leaning Baby Doll Eyes but if the debuff moves don't appeal to me then I'll do Ice Shard.

Growl, quick attack

I'll change to Helping Hand and Baby Doll Eyes, just to ultra make sure I get that Sylveon evolution.

what im think for moves that buff or lower stats i feel like defense and special defence will temparily buff armor thresholds for specifically physical weapons and physical attacks for defense and special attacks and magic for special defense, i will make things that boost attack and special attack for attack boost itself and physical weapons powers and special attack boosts itself and magic. i feel like stuff that boost evasion affects the evasion stats itself. and accuracy will add stuff to hit your enemies (which will help if you are using a non pokemon move). i feel things that relate to speed (since there is no turn order) can relate to marking a stress.
for the most part i feel like stuff that effects evasion or accuracy will only lower or raise it by 1, for the things that mess with the other stats i would probably do it (for now) as rolling a d4 (probably will increase the output when you get to higher tiers)

So with respect to Attack debuffs(like Growl or Baby Doll Eyes), it'd reduce their Attack damage by D4 based on their proficiency(aka our character level, hence at higher levels, we'd roll more die to get a bigger reduction). Attack debuffs would apply to Physical while Special Attack debuffs would apply to Magical. A target that does Magical damage wouldn't be affected by the likes of Growl or Baby Doll Eyes. My Rune Ward spell applies to both forms of damage if my understanding is correct.
Defense debuffs would drop damage thresholds by D4 and would behave in a similar fashion(Defense makes them more vulnerable to Physical while Special Defense applies to Magical). Based on this, will Pokemon enemies have different damage thresholds for Physical and Magical? Ditto for us given that some Pokemon resist Physical damage far better than Magical(aka Special).
I think I'll take Powder Snow and Tail Whip as they're the first two moves it learns. The others being Disable and Ice Shard.

Hades can't make it that day either given he has a coding class(afaik). I don't think it'll hurt to push it back another week(to 7/4) but it's GM call. Speaking of which, you(GM) plan to do a Session 0 this Saturday(6/20) or no?
