Certainly fits the theme of your character but there is a bit of overlap with your Deft Deceiver ability. Deft Deceiver tricks or deceives a target, which can be viewed as “lying” to them. Meaning if you opted to use your Liar experience, you could achieve the same result or get double the boost if you opted to use both(not sure how double advantage would work and if it’s even possible but figure I’d mention it). It’s partly why I feel you’d benefit from dipping into the Midnight Domain for either Pick and Pull(gives advantage on certain actions for nothing since it’s a passive ability) or Rain of Blades because if used in conjunction with your Nightwalker subclass, you can make some nasty attacks via Rogue’s Sneak Attack + Shadow Stepper(Nightwalker). Aka Assassin’s Creed 101.

As I understand it, it’s basically proficiency when performing a certain task. If the Experience a player has chosen is applicable to a given task(you have final say on it), a player may spend a Hope to get +2 on the roll outcome.
Like for example, someone picked the phrase “This is not a negotiation” could be applied in a situation where you’re intimidating a target.

Got an idea for Snow Warning and Abilities in general. Treat them like a Domain card, only that they cannot be swapped. They can only be activated once per long rest(no Hope cost or maybe cost one?). For Snow Warning, it conjures a Snow Storm that envelops everything within 30 feet of you(aka close range). All targets(friend and foe) are immobilized and must utilize an action to break free(giving the Snow Fox a chance to escape or finish a particular foe off).
Snow Cloak is a passive ability that grants +2 Evasion when surrounded by Snow or in a Mountain Environment.

Hmm that could work. Having to figure them out for all Pokémon is going to take time though and particularly if you want them reasonably balanced. Was looking at the various races and Human isn’t that bad.
