In forums that use this framework, system "bot" accounts are used to run automated scripts for both background maintenance and processing forum commands.

It's a utility integrated into the system to help manage the community, so there is nothing nefarious about it... it just handles automated tasks or live commands.

Hmmmm.... So I was kinda right in one of my earlier speculations about @retoion in a couple different threads ..

And I guess that my gut instinct about how something bad would happen if the bot wasn't here is true too. (Unless it was replaced by another bot). Retoion is needed for the upkeep of our community!!! 😁

If you look into it, you will find plenty of interesting insights and get a much clearer picture of how everything functions behind the scenes. At least to me it's interesting...
