I'm not one for making long posts so this one will be brief as well.

One thing thing that new Pokemon game developers are doing is taking away the time investment for the more prestigious parts of pokemon(shinies and having the best trained pokemon). Breeding started the cycle of skyrocketing the speed to get the best version of your favorite pokemon. But couldn't we keep the speed of obtaining the favorite slow and instead have skins for Pokemon. Maybe the pokemon is eating a fruit, berry, nut, or it's holding something. Or it has a hat. These features would be rare for wild Pokemon and have a distinction from hatched features.

I enjoyed my time in Violet and PLA and want more systems that don't necessarily make a solo experience easier. I want trading to still be OP in the games.

I feel like shinies do need to be harder to find, just not too hard to find. However, perfect stats and natures shouldn't be too hard, or else there'd be a rather high chance of getting a really rare Pokemon (or starter), but it's stats being so bad that it's much harder to use.

Oh I do agree with that. I guess to make strong pokemon more of an investment I want some way to increase a Pokemon's potential through other contests than the Pokemon League. Maybe have a friendship contest where AI evaluates friendship level with a pokemon and you compete against the computer. There would be levels of competition and maybe a prestige(not of friendship but difficulty level that increases but the counter of difficulty started over) 😏
