The Auto-Battle AI is literally braindead.

1. It refuses to bench Basic Pokémon.Even with open bench space, the AI constantly holds Basic Pokémon in hand and refuses to play them. It has zero concept of setting up for the future and just wastes turns holding playable cards while my active Pokémon gets knocked out.

2. The energy attachment logic is completely broken. My Active Pokémon and two of my Benched Pokémon are already at max energy (some even over-attached). Meanwhile, I have a Pokémon on the bench with zero energy. Instead of powering up the only Pokémon that actually needs it, the AI absolutely refuses to attach any energy to it.

3. It sabotages coin re-rolls with pure RNG.When using Moltres ex (flips 3 coins) with a Victini on the bench, the AI's re-roll logic is completely random and ignores expected value. If it flips 1 head, it's a 50/50 chance whether it re-rolls. Even worse, if it flips 2 heads, it almost ALWAYS re-rolls them away. It doesn't calculate math or risk—it just actively throws away good RNG for no reason.

Bench Pokemon can be a liability and also can hamper you from playing something important later if you draw it. You don't want to fill your bench with no good reason. I often notice it not play basics because it could be one of these two things. A 50 HP basic is liable to a Sabrina or other Sabrina-like effects for example. An unprotected and unprepared mega can make you lose the game if the attack is big enough.

AI isn't great indeed, but tbh I've seen much worst... like have you tried the TCG Live test deck AI lol it's so bad it's hilarious…

    For example:

    * As long as my Electrike is in my hand, it won't be vulnerable until I put it onto my Bench. If I did (while my opponent got 2 points), I would lose just like what Superskull said. Plus, putting my Electrike onto my Bench is unnecessary just because it's just too weak.

(Developers, can we export the Battle Logs instead of writing them manually, please?)
