Mega Hawlucha EX discarding Stadium problem

So i'm playing Mega Hawlucha and just lost a game because it discards the stadium before delievering damage. Is that correct?

I swung for a Pult with Grav Mountain in play and a Premium Power Pro so was swinging for 290hp which should be a knock out but it removed the stadium immediatly making the Pult 320 again. And then again when I attacked with Lively Stadium in play (Hawlucha 250/280hp), the stadium was discarded and my Hawlucha knocked itself out by discarding the Stadium!

Is this correct or is this a bug?

    All effects of an attack, including discarding of the stadium, have to happen before a pokemon can be ko'd from the attack.

    A stadium that would effect the attack directly (eg. neutralization zone) would still do that effect, but gravity mountain doesn't do that.

    In the lively stadium case, the hawlucha should attack before it is ko'd, but it will still get knocked out immediately after.
