[Icebreaker] If you were a Gym Leader, what type would you specialize in and why?

I would do flying or electric cause altaria and jolteon

Hmm… That's a toughie. I'd go with Fighting type, Poison type, or Ghost type! I'd probably give out the Muscle Badge for the Fighting, the Acid Badge for Poison, and the Spirit Badge for Ghost! For my team, it'd be:
Fighting: Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, Lucario, Meinshao, and Mega Blaziken!
Ghost: Oricorio (Sensu), Basulegion, Ceruledge, Sinistcha, Alolan Marowak, and Mega Froslass!
Poison: Dragalge, Toxtricity, Roserade, Revavroom, Toxicroak, and Mega Glimmora!

100% bug-type. i think i’d be an early-game gym leader, probably 2nd.
my team would be:
- Joltik (Compound Eyes ability, with Thunder Wave, Skitter Smack, Electro Ball, and Absorb)
- Leavanny (Swarm ability, with Razor Leaf, Slash, Skitter Smack, and Charm)
- Shedinja (Wonder Guard ability, holding Focus Sash, with Confuse Ray, Skitter Smack, Will-O-Wisp, and Protect)
- Larvesta (the ace! Flame Body ability, with Sunny Day, Skitter Smack, Flame Wheel, and Struggle Bug)
if i were to be in Paldea/Kitakami, my Larvesta would be tera rock to mess with any fire-types that try to take advantage of Sunny Day :)1
