A problem with Scarlet/Violet is that due to the poor optimizations you often see frame dips, the issue isnt that it isn't like 144 fps its that it can't even have a stable 30 fps and often dips which makes stutters during gameplay. It may not be a but it is usually indicative of poor game optimization for the hardware.

it's still fun

Yes but you can say that about literally any game.

Any pokemon game at least

Yes, which means nothing when trying to critically analyze the games.

I have literally no nostalgia for the past games, I'm a teen and my first and favorite game was Sword. So I think the first part doesn't apply to me…
What do you mean by art style=graphics? I have no problem with S/V's art style, I kind of like it, for that matter. But the graphics were kind of iffy.
I played it and there were good parts and bad parts. Every Pokemon game has ups and downs. Its just that the ups didn't really compensate as well for the downs for me. The characters- mostly fun. But then the DLC is better than the main game in every way (in my own opinion), the open world is just empty with optional trainer battles that I never touched, and the Pokemon designs… we got a decent batch in some, but then they gave us- Wiglett. Toedscool. And every paradox Pokemon! Its just the same Pokemon wearing a mustache and fake glasses. Just make him friggin' Paldean Diglett!
Easy? It's an E-Rated series. Make it too hard and its not for the kids who ragequit at the drop of a hat anymore. So… don't play Pokémon in general if you're looking for a particularly challenging game. Unless you're going to nuzlocke or something.0 -
by art style graphics I mean a lot of people online complain about games having bad graphics even though they do just because they’re not hyper realistic (pokopia, tomadachi life 3 etc.)
