Shame we will never be getting a sequel. That era of spinoffs was crazy, You would get other developers to make completely unique games with tons of content and a full experience. Unfortunately, the average modern game is a lot more expensive to make than back on the DS.

I posted my detailed thoughts in another thread but here's a summary. I felt like it had some good aesthetics but in practice playing the same thing repeatedly in postgame was repetitive and anticlimactic to just box in the final kingdom and grind out perfect links. Also some maps are just boring.
@lizard I thought nobunaga was weird because he kept talking about himself in the third person and laughing.

I was a pretty big fan of Pokemon Conquest when it came out. I still remember how I got Glaceon, and how much it helped me defeat Nobunaga in the end. Really, I don think I would have been able to defeat Nobunaga without Glaceon, cementing it as my favorite Eeveelution.

Pokemon Conquest was very fun! I played it for 20 hours nonstop when I first got it, beating the main campaign in one go. I still have yet to have 100%ed it, but I can hope!
@Flametix I personally theorized that Nobunaga's third person speech was in some way an odd translation of his speech in the Japanese version, in that he may be similarly full of himself based on his use of personal pronouns. However, I have yet to have learned enough Japanese to actually test this hypothesis on my own.

https://community.pokemon.com/en-us/discussion/comment/13089#Comment_13089I haven't played Pokémon Conquest, but I've read there was a recent interview where someone who works on the series that game was crossing over with was asked if there are plans for another Pokémon Conquest game, he said that there aren't any, but they could consider it if they see the demand for it. Maybe Pokémon Conquest fans could do something about that.

Haven't played Conquest, but I feel like Pokemon Rumble is one of the most obscure spin-off series. My Pokemon Ranch is probably more well-known than the entire Rumble series combined. I feel that people will only think about the series for Pokemon Rumble Rush, the one mobile game it had that got shut down, or maybe the original Pokemon Rumble wiiware title, or Pokemon Rumble World with microtransactions, or even Pokemon Rumble U, which plays completely differently to the other games. My first Pokemon game was a Rumble game, being Pokemon Rumble Blast. It was ok, and imo its the best in the series, even if you include the now unobtainable Wii and mobile games.
Sorry that this turned into a rant, but seeing countless videos on the Pokemon Ranger games, Pokemon Conquest, the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, Colosseum and XD, Stadium, and variety videos with Hey You, Pikachu, Pokemon Channel, Battle Revolution, the one typing game, even My Pokemon Ranch, and the relative popularity of Pokken and Detective Pikachu makes me wonder if anyone even touched a Rumble game.

I love "tatical" games and I love Pokémon, so this game really is awesome! After I saw this post on the front page it reminded me of that interview with Namco where "Pokémon plus Nobunaga's Ambition" was talked about and they have no reason to not do a new one apart from apparent lack of interest

@scotty774 Speaking in the third person just makes me think of all the other pokemon characters that speak in the third person like Candice and Mira and Jovi from XD, so it really came across as childish for me.
