And that's how you solve an equation with variables," the Meowscarada math teacher, Mr. Trix, finishes. Vee nods along, writing down notes from the board. After finishing she looks around at the class and sees Tric in his own world. Subtly, Vee tries to nudge him back to reality, but Mr. Trix notices and smirks.

The teacher snaps his fingers and a flower explodes in Tric's face. The Luxray nearly jumps out of his seat from the surprise. "I'm listening," he exclaims, shaking his ear buds out.

"Oh, really," Mr. Trix asks, his smirk growing wider. "Then tell me how to solve the problem on board. If you were listening you would know."

Tric stares at the board, head at a slight tilt as he tries to decipher what seems to him to be a code in another language. Vee silently hopes that he some how manages to figure it out and avoid getting humiliated. "I know what this is, of course," the Luxray finally says. "But I'd like it if you told me what it is. That way I know you know what you're talking about."

Vee sighs with disappointment as the class bursts into laughter, all the students pointing at Tric, obviously mocking him. Mr. Trix chuckles with amusement, shaking his head. "Hand over your ear buds. You'll get them back at the end of the day."

"What," Tric shouts, his eyes wide as he shakes his head. "No way!" The Meowscarada puts his fingers together and Tric flinches at the thought of the Flower Trick. "Y-Yes sir…"

The Luxray slowly gets up and trudges his way across the room. With a depressing sigh, he puts the ear buds in Mr. Trix's outstretched hand. "Thank you," the teacher says as Tric returns to his desk.

As Tric sits down, Vee gives him a soft pat on the back. He looks at her and gives a soft (and very forced) smile before looking back at the board. Vee gives him one last pat before going back to studying.

Lunch

"How was everyone's school been so far," Charz asks as they all take a seat.

"I hate Mr. Trix..." Tric grumbles with a glare. Vee can't help but chuckle.

"My day was fabulous," Gwen says happily, smiling as she takes a bite of her seasoned, slow roasted, 1500 Poké chicken.

Vee begins to answer, but the doors to the cafeteria slam open. The squad's heads turn and they see Thur and his group of punks walking into the room. "Oh, great," Vee mutters as they approach them.

"Hey, loser," he says to Vee. Then he looks around at her friends. "And other losers."

"What do you want," Tric growls, inching a bit closer to Vee and wrapping his tail around her protectively.

"Oh, look," Thur exclaims, looking at the Luxray with a cruel smirk. "It's the fool that can't do math!"

Tric growls at him, teeth on full display. "Back off," Gwen tells Thur.

"And what are you going to do," Thur sneers. "Call your daddy?"

"My mommy, actually," the Alolan Ninetales counters, obviously proud of her horrible reply.

"Shove off," Charz states, standing up.

"Make me," the Umbreon replies, taking a step towards him. The Charizard puffs out his chest, getting ready to attack.

"Don't," Vee exclaims, stopping Charz. "He's not worth it."

"Too scared to fight," Thur taunts. "Expected that when a you come from a Dad like yours!"

That's it.

Vee lunges across the table and Bites Thur. Everyone watching stares with pure surprise. "You used Bite," Thur exclaims, a wicked smile spreading across his face.

Vee slowly releases him. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"What is going on!?"

Everyone freezes and turns to see Vice Principal Mewtwo staring at the scene. Suddenly, Thur breaks into tears. "Sh-She attacked me!"

"My office," Mewtwo states. "Now!"

Vee sighs and follows. She looks at Thur one last time and see him smugly watching as she leaves.

The Office

"Explain," the VP demands. "It is against the rules to attack."

"I didn't really hurt him," Vee exclaims.

"I know that," Mewtwo replies. "I can tell the difference between a real and fake performance. Now answer why you did it."

"He insulted my father..." I mutter. That may sound dumb, but Vee's father was supposed to enter the military when he was younger. He was strong and offered much fame and glory. But he declined. He knew it was a risk and would require leaving his family, possibly never coming back. Everyone knows this and many call him a coward for it.

Mewtwo sighs. "Listen, it's the first week of school. I'll be lenient this time. But next time will lead to punishment."

"Yes sir," Vee responds, relief rushing through her. "Thank you!"

"Your parents will be here shortly."

Okay, so I would keep going (I've already had three chapter plans, one focusing on Tric) but I don't want to make one chapter too long

Can her parents be a male Glaceon and female Flareon?

I understand if not since some one else gets control of the next chapter

Sorry that I focused on Vee (like I said, it was going to be longer but I didn't want to over do it)
