I have no PokéBalls, so I'm just killing Pokémon

    Good EXP, though!

    DaBeast is level 9

This is going to take forever!

I wouldn't mind the Magikarp if it could use an attack that deals damage!

I just got a Rare Candy!

I don't know who to give it to, though...

DaBeast, who needs to be Lv 20 to evolve but can't attack (currently 9)

Buzzy is evolved but it never hurts to level up more. Also, she's a Bug type, so weak against the types in the cave (currently 11)

KingPin needs to be Lv 16 to evolve. I can't use him much, though, since his only damage attack is Peck, which doesn't do much to the Pokémon in the cave (currently 11)

Char, my ace, is Lv 20, so she doesn't get much Exp from defeating these level 8 and 9 around us. Could be nice to get an instant, no wait level up, especially since I'm using her the most in the cave.

Eh that's how the EXP Share item works in Generations 1 and 2. They may have changed it for Generation 3 and onward but I never played Gen 3+ until I got Scarlet a few months ago and they completely removed EXP Share in lieu of what they have now. As for using that Nugget "exploit", you're really not saving yourself time or cash because while Flamethrower TM in Rocket Game corner is nice, if you simply use a Fire Type that naturally learns it(aka Charmander, Vulpix, Growlithe(albeit at level 49… ugh), Magmar(level 41, knows Fire Punch at 19 as a Magby though), then you'll be just fine w/o all those Nuggets.

    I just realized something

I don't think that when Red and Blue came out people could look up what all the Pokémon evolve into

That means that someone out there went out of their way to raise a Magikarp!

You know they were thankful when it evolved!
