My opponent didn't lose even when his time came to 0

Someone has have the problem that the opponent stops making movements when the duel is almost over to him but even when his time goes down to zero the rival doesn't lose? How to solve that problem? I had to restart the app because I couldn't do anything but surrender and I didn't want to do that because I really won that game.
