What is the best generation 1 pokemon?
In gen 1 there are some really good Pokémon like Gengar and Charizard and Mewtwo

Gen 1 is absolutely broken. Pretty much any pokemon that has high speed… is borked.
Crit is tied to speed. So… Id go with a Persian that knows slash. Its speed is I think 115? So its nearly 100 percent crit.
Normal crit rates are half the users speed. slash is 8times more likely to crit up to 255/256.
So a persian with bubble bea, amd thunderbolt for coverage.
Hands down the best. Probably mewtwo, but since its post game and was banned in competitive RBY OU.
Second to mewtow, is probably a Tauros. It has High speed, strong attack and normal STAB. Tauros crit is like 20 percent. A tauros with Body slam and hyper beam is wild. So chip with Body slam, then finish with Hyper beam and no recharge.
Tauros… is probably, no exaggeration, the undisputed king of RBY, at least competitively.3
