WWhy we are still waiting for the option to change the Gender of the Trainer?

NoNowadays this is a Default option in everything you play, see and touch ....

  Why have a division between genders?

  Let both wear all outfits and hair styles!

  Or maybe no gender and you can customize your character to look however you want!
