Entry #1: New Faces
It was a bright day in hisui, the sun was shining, the Starlys were chirping. Jubalife city was normal except for in the main plaza. In the main plaza a few old friends had reunited.
A young girl around her 20’s laughed, “Adaman did you lose her? Irida is going to kill you!”
The man said, “Akari, keep it down. Look, her and I entered the town and I stopped to look at the general stores wares because there is so much interesting stuff. I am still on the fence about the pokéballs. While I understand all of the old superstitions are not true they still…”
Akari snapped, “Adaman! Focus! We have to find Christa!”
“Oh, right. She must have wandered off because when I turned around she was gone,” the man replied.
Akari started walking off, “C’mon we just got to check all the interesting places before Irida gets here.”
The duo quickly arrived at the dojo where a battle between two villagers was taking place.
“Ugh, she isn’t here, I thought with the noise and excitement of the new battle program we have set up, she would be here” Akari stated.
“Maybe you know your village, but I know my daughter.” Adaman replied as he began walking around the court.
“What do you mean?” Akari followed him.
Adaman explained, “She loves Pokémon so much that if she saw this, it would be scary because it looks like two alphas clashing, she hasn’t mastered keeping her ground or making eye contact when there is a scary Pokémon, so most likely she would run behind a building.”
“Oh, the poor thing,” Akari sympatheticly exclaimed.
When they appeared behind the shed a little girl sat crying on the ground.
Adaman ran up to her and began helping her get through the traumatizing experience.
Snif Snif “Those two poor Pokemon were hurting themselves,” She said in her childish voice.
Adaman tried to comfort her but no matter what he tried she kept crying.
Irida came storming in, “What are you doing?! Trying to traumatize her with a Pokémon battle! Adaman! You of all people should know better than that, as a leader of a whole clan! Christa dear, come here. Is this not a fun place?”
As christa calmed down and ran over to her mommy Adaman responded, “Look, I promise it isn’t like that, let me explain.”
After going back to the main plaza they explained the tale of Adamans incompetence and comforted little Christa.
Entry #2: Whereabouts
“Huh, you really had to look away and make such a big situation. Huh, I can’t believe you can lead a tribe but you can’t keep a child under control,” Irida said after hearing the whole story.
“Mama don’t be mad, I just wanted to have a little fun in Jabulife village. It is so much bigger than our home,” Christa comfortingly replied.
“Oh honey, I am not mad at you, though you should tell me or your father when you want to see something. Your father just does really incoherent things sometimes,” Irida replied.
“Mama what does Incuhenert mean?”
“It doesn’t mean anything you need to know,” Irida said with a glare at her husband.
Akari spoke to lighten the air and remove the growing tension, “Well, we are all here and that is what matters.”
“Are we? It feels like something is missing,” Irida replied.
They thought for a moment.
Christa spoke in her little voice, “Is Uncle Rei here?”
Adaman exclaimed, “Oh right, where is he Akari?”
“Why should I know?” Akari questioningly responded.
“Well, if you don’t who would?” Irida asked.
“The professor,” Akari answered.
“Why lavinigton?” Adaman asked.
“Uncle Rei told me that lavender whrights down what Uncle Rei learns,” Christa related.
“Yes, that’s right, the professor writes down all of Rei and I’s field research and where we go, so if Rei left Jubalife the professor would know where to,” Akari added.
Christa inquired, “Where does the professor live.”
“Most of the time he is around the galaxy team headquarters,” Akari answered.
“Well, let’s go!!! This sounds really fun! I have never been in the big building, mama, have you ever been in the big building?” The very excited Christa asked.
Irida kindly responded, “I was last in it seven years ago.”
“Wow, that’s older than me,” the now flabbergasted Christa replied.
As they stepped inside the great building Christa’s eye were as big as dinner plates. “Wow, it’s even bigger inside. This would be the perfect place for hide and go seek,” Christa mumbled in awe.
“The last time we were here,” Irida started,
“Was the day we became one,” Adaman finished.
“A day whose date you can’t ever remember,” Irida jokingly stated.
“Hey! It was, um, maybe you’re right,” Adaman replied.
“I forget that you have been so busy with the uniting of the clans and the raising of your daughter that you haven’t been here in so long,” Akari said, but she was not in near as much awe as the others.
They walked over to lavingtons study and caught up with each other for a while.
After talking for a bit Akari asked, “Professor, are you currently aware of Rei’s whereabouts? We are looking for him.”
“Oh, yes. Let me see here,” the professor began as he looked through a giant stack of papers. “Aha, here it is. He took a slight excursion to the Obsidian Fieldlands to investigate a rogue Alpha Rapidash.”
“OK, I think I know where some Ponytas live and the Rapidash should be somewhere around there,” Irida replied.
As they were about to leave the building Adaman exclaimed, “Wait! Where’s Christa!!!”
Entry #3: Lost and Found
After Rallying the entire staff of team galaxy with the reluctant help of Cyllene they searched the bottom two floors and the underground floor.
“Where is she?” The now irritated Irida asked.
“Beauregard says she didn’t leave the building,” Akari reminded.
“Hmm, I guess we should search Commander Kamado’s room on the third floor,” Irida finally said.
“Hopefully this won’t go badly,” Akari replied.
When they walked up the stairs and went into the main office it was empty.
“Well, our last chance is to check the roof,” Adaman stated.
As the group came onto the roof commander Kamado and Christa were ahead of them, the commander was pointing at the beach just south of the village.
“And that is where me and my friends first landed from,” he explained to little Christa. “Ah, it seems your parents and Akari are here.”
“Pardon the intrusion, sir,” Adaman opened with.
“Haha, no need for that, being with Christa here brought back some fond memories.”
“If you don’t mind we are setting off to the Obsidian Fieldlands in search of Rei,” Akari informed.
“Well, the wilds are no place for Christa, Beni is a great caretaker if you wish,” Kamado said with a smile that had not surfaced for many decades.
“Well, if you trust him I can too,” Irida replied.
“Haha, be off, I will take her to Beni, has she had lunch yet? Benny is a fine chef if not.”
Adaman answered, “No, now that you mention it, I could use some food too, but it will have to wait.”
Kamado spoke, “OK, have a good time and be off already!”
They set off with the professor in search of Rei.
“Alright, here we are, this is our base camp,” Lavington announced.
“The Ponyta usually live Northeast of here,” Irida stated.
“I am not built for the wilds and so I will stay behind,” Lavington spoke as he sat on a nearby bench.”
Akari noted, “It will be a ways if we follow the path.”
“I know a shortcut,” Adaman replied.
“Great,” Irida mumbled.
As they followed the path two Shinx came out. The first Shinx charged right at Akari using quick attack. Akari dodged out of the way with trainer expertise.
Adaman brought out a Leafeon, “Use Quick attack, strong style!”
At the same time Irida brought out her Glaceon, “Use Ice beam, agile style!”
Both of the shinx ran away injured. One of them made a small call, which was answered by a large roar.
Gulp Akari nervously said, “We have company.”
Entry #4: Danger
From a small hill a large shape leaped into the air. It had the sun behind it so if you tried looking at it you would be blinded. The form landed in a run with the backing of a strong style wild charge.
Everyone dodged the incoming beast and when the sparks faded they saw the back of a huge luxray. When the electrified cat turned around the trio saw its eyes were glowing red.
“An alpha,” Akari whispered under her breath.
“C’mon, let’s take it down together!” Adaman called.
Irida had her Glaceon ready, Adaman had his leafeon ready, and Akari had her Mr. Mime come out.
“Mr. Mime,” Akari shouted, “Use psychic to hold the beast down!
“Glaceon,” Irida called.
“Leafeon,” Adaman called.
In unison the duo yelled, “Use quick attack, agile style!”
The two eeveelutions raced ahead as the luxray struggled against the psychic powers of Mr. Mime. As they ran they both looked each other in the eyes, and with that one look they both knew what to do. Glaceon went to the right and leafeon went ahead.
The huge alpha used fire fang on leafeon but leafeon ducked under it and luxray was not able to connect because of psychic.
As the luxray missed Glaceon used the opportunity to run at the beast.
Irida yelled, “Glaceon! Finish it with double edge, strong style!”
The beast fainted and the crew healed, and went on their way.
“An alpha, that close to base camp is worrying,” Akari said with a contemplative tone.
“The tribe has begun reporting an increasing amount of them, alphas that is,” Adaman replied.
“Let’s not forget that your great shortcut is costing us more time because of that alpha,” Irida added.
“By this point I think it will be hard not to run into them,” Akari replied.
The trio broke out of the light forest and into a serene meadow. A few ponyta were grazing amongst the flowers.
BOOM a giant explosion sounded from behind a giant boulder.
“That would be Rei,” Akari sarcastically added.
“Let’s go help him,” Irida stated.
The group broke out in a run.
When they came around the rock they saw Rei and his Samurott faced against an alpha Rapidash, both sides looked tired.
Before the group could intervene Rei Yelled, “Samurott! Let’s finish this, get in with an agile style aqua jet!”
The skilled water type jetted ahead with incredible force.
“And now land with Aqua Tail in the strong style!!!”
The alpha rapidash fainted and Akari spoke up, “Impressive, singlehandedly taking down an alpha is no easy feet.”
“How long have you been here?” Rei asked as he returned and healed Samurott.
“Not long, we got here during the last aqua jet,” Irida answered.
“OK, I guess I am late, and probably should be at the village right now,” Rei asked with a grimace.
“Yeah, I don’t think late is the correct word for when you miss something entirely,” Adaman stated with a chuckle.
“Alright, let’s head back to the village, I am craving some potato mochi,” Rei replied.

Entry #5: Revelations
After a little potato Mochi, Akari said, “It is so nice to be all together again.”
“I agree,” Adaman replied.
“There is something I need to tell you, as of late there has been a fifty percent increase in wild alpha sightings.”
“We knew there were more,” Irida added.
“I am sure you do but we believe he is back at it again. Only a legendary Pokémon could do this at the rate we encountered,” Rei stated.
“How is the possible? I mean him surviving and also why are we sure that it isn’t just chance that a higher number of alphas are appearing in some areas?” Adaman asked.
“We don’t know fully how he survived but I have my theories. As to your other point, two days ago, it was about one alpha per 33 square meters, as of yesterday, one alpha for every 25 square meters, it may not sound like much but overnight, it’s insane. It isn’t just a few isolated areas either, it’s spread out and strategic. They block highly frequented paths and ways around those paths. The highest concentration though is near Mt. Coronet,” Rei explained.
“Is that bad?” Little Christa asked.
“Whatever it is we will make it better,” Akari told her.
“OK auntie Akari.”
After the adults chatted for a few hours they finally got tired. Adaman and Irida, as well as Christa were assigned their own rooms. Christa got her own room which was more like a building. She was happy because usually she just got a tent. She wasn’t tired so she started quietly playing with her self.
After a bit of playing and trying to use the mirror and all sorts of stuff she unlocked the door and crept out.
When she left the room she closed the door behind her and one of her fingers turned green. The green extended like a vine into the key hole and locked it. She retracted the vine and her finger was the same as usual again. As she crept through the village she heard a tired yawn and hid behind a crate.
“Man, I hate the graveyard shift,” a tired guard said as he walked by.
Christa restarted her creep after the guard had passed thinking to herself, “I need to be sneaky, the guards are still awake.”
As she neared the gate she noticed a guard stationed in the gate so that anything or anyone leaving or entering the village would be caught. Christa crept over to an un guarded part of the wall and both her hands turned into thick vines.
After quietly hoisting herself up and over the wall with her vines she crept down the path to the Crimson Mirelands.
Within the dark swamp most of the Pokémon were asleep except for a few nocturnal ones. Because of this fact Christa was able to get through quicker.
She took a slight detour to Sludge Mound. When she arrived a large ursaluna stood there. She held out a sitrus berry and the noble Pokémon ate it happily.
Christa smiled and whispered, “It’s always good to see you.”
The little girl went on her way.
She walked for a bit until she came to the cave entrance. She walked inside. Inside was a labyrinth of off shoots and dead ends. It was pitch black too. Christa held up her hand and used flash, the cave around her lit up. As she calmly followed a path the light expanded before her and faded behind her.
