Making a Movie

So Izzy already has an Eevee

This does lead into something I've been wanting to ask

Will Izzy catch any other Pokémon or will it be her and Vee the whole time?

So what Pokémon are we thinking?

We've already got some good suggestions, but they're all from foreign regions

Are we still able to use them?

Okay

So we need to start thinking about the male companion

We know he has Charizard (someone suggested it starts as Charmeleon but evolves during the movie. I think that sounds good but I'm not the only one making decisions) and that he'll join Izzy, but that's it

We need to develop him more

So I think he should be Izzy's age (13 or 14) and it's a random encounter along the path

Maybe he's getting mugged and Izzy jumps in and saves him (very unwillingly, though, since she doesn't like to battle)

He thanks her deeply and asks what she's doing here

She says she's on a mission to stop Team Rocket and he wants to help

He may be weak, but he has a big heart

Or, alternate idea, he's a jerk and Izzy stops him from bullying somebody

After she stops him, he challenges her to a battle out of rage and she (after much of him persisting) agrees

She beats him, much to his surprise, and he demands to know where she's going

She explains her mission and he adds himself, saying there's no way she can do this alone and needs someone powerful like him to help her (yes, even though he just lost)

So how these would work is if we go with the first option, his development would be gaining strength and confidence since he starts out as a wimpy coward

Second option is he goes from a heartless dirtbag to more caring and kind (Izzy would be a huge factor in this by always being a kind person)
