I'm still working on The Forums story Champion chapter

This is being (that sounds weird but saying is going to be is kind of inaccurate considering I took a short break in the middle of drawing it to write this because of how annoying it is) the hardest part so far, since drawing in that level of detail as someone who is a beginner at pixel art is going to be difficult. The outlines especially.

It's still highly imperfect and far from the level of detail most gen 5 sprites have, but I think this is the best I could do (it still looks awkward. Maybe it's because of the background colours or because it's still not detailed enough yet). Also, unfortunately I couldn't find a battle sprite of a character wearing a puffy dress to see how it'd be shaded in gen 5's style, but I did my best nonetheless. Now, I have to continue working on writing the story.

Honestly, now that I'm thinking about it, it's stupid in a slightly funny way how long the story is taking because I thought a few months ago that adding in a fake gen 5 battle screenshot would be cool and refused to give up despite the fact that it's an extremely small reward in comparison to the ridiculous effort and time it would take (seriously, it's just going to be awkwardly inserted before the battle). Plus, because of the time and effort I spent drawing, I feel like it's going to be hard to make it feel like it lives up to the effort I put into this considering I'm more of an artist than a writer (and because I feel like the standard for a good story here is much higher now, which is a little intimidating), but I will try my very best despite all of that.
