I am 100% all in to gen 10 for 30th anniversary! All my bets are placed! But what else do you think they'll do? Will they announce anymore ZA DLCs? Will there be a new mythical announced?

I bet we'll get a few more megas. they need to keep online going for a few more months at least.

My predictions for Pokémon Day 2026 (30th anniversairy):
- Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen will be added to the Nintendo E-Shop and will be "code in box" in stores, like the 20th anniversairy on 3DS. They will have HOME connectivity as well. This is not only like the 3DS but also because then Johto & Hoenn are available on the Switch/Switch 2 and a remake isn't planned.
- Red, Green, Blue & Yellow Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons are going to be sold seperately (they're rolling colored Switch 2 Joy-Cons out now and I can see them do this, a limited edition console is also possible but I can see them giving that to the Generation 10 games later in the year instead).
- Pokémon Colosseum & XD: Gale of Darkness with HOME connectivity are released as well.
- Pokémon HOME connectivity with Legends Z-A is available after the broadcast and later they'll also give out Shiny Jirachi & Shiny Hoopa for completing the Orre/Lumiose City Pokédex (Completing Colosseum/XD: Gale of Darkness and Legends Z-A + Mega Dimension DLC Pokédex)
- New events in Pokémon GO, Unite, TCG Pocket, Sleep & Masters EX
- Generation 10 games are announced with a release date, including silhouettes for the starters & main legendaries. It will also get a limited edition Switch 2 with the print of the legendaries on the dock and the Joy-Cons in color of the games.1 -
You know I was just going to come on here and suggest that they make a 1-4 player PMD game with a massive roster of Pokémon to choose from. Players would create their "character" from that roster and then play the story/campaign in w/e fashion they desire. They can do so in Single Player mode to get a feel for it, or they can play in Co-Op mode with up to 3 friends via Nintendo Online or locally with other Switch 2's. The combat mechanics would be similar to that of the Synchronization system of Scarlet/Violet where you control the Pokémon combined with combat mechanics in Legends Arceus/Z-A where you have Z-Targeting(ZL) and you dodge by sprinting or rolling and then attack using the moves your character has at that point in time. If you finish the campaign/story, you can play together to do Raids(akin to battling bosses like in Z-A with Mega Evolution encounters) or even do PvP where you battle other teams in up to 4v4 combat(hence kind of like Z-A but in a multiplayer format and Friendly Fire exists so… try not to Earthquake everyone… XD).
Basically… take the Trainer out of it and just have Pokémon. I mean we have Pokémon Dungeon&Dragons going on right now on the Forum… a PMD game on the Switch 2 would basically make that a reality since @Hades0918 would have Blaze the Torchic, @UnovanZorua would have Ashes the Fennekin, I'd have Beira the Alolan Vulpix, and @Thur55555555555 would have Shocksalot the Tynamo. The hours we'd spend on there would be crazy. Hatenna would be a popular choice on that game too given she can utilize Life Dew and Heal Pulse to heal the group.
