It's late at night, the only light in the city electrical. Grisham enters the empty lab, where Mable is waiting at the front desk. She's wearing dark blue pajamas and a white lab coat. She has feet on the table, which are in fuzzy pink bunny slippers. Her blue hair is a mess and she looks exhausted.
"Mable," Grisham says with a friendly tone and warm smile.
"You've kept me up way past my bed time," she states, obviously irritated. "Make this good!"
"I thought you'd be interested in hearing that Ange, the being that almost destroyed Lumios, is now human," he tells her, smiling wider when Mable raises an eyebrow.
"Really," Mable questions, sitting up. "How?"
Grisham shrugs. "I don't know. However, me and my wife, Paxton, and Emma are working to capture her once we get the dirt on her."
"If y'all get her, do you think I could... experiment on her," Mable asks.
"That depends," Grisham responds. "How legal is it?"
Mable's eyes sparkle menacingly. "We both that answer."
Grisham sighs. "And this is why Team Flare is looked down on by society." He pauses. "However, I'd let you. But I don't have that power. Emma is the one that chooses where Ange goes when taken in."
Mable nods. "I'll talk to the Detective later," she tells him. She then smiles sweetly and innocently. "I look forward to working with you!"
Grisham does a small bow. "I feel the same way." With that, he turns and leaves, exiting the lab and returning home.

That same night
Shiny Darkrai stares at Hotel Z. I saw it today, it thinks, focusing on the strange girl's room. She had the power of Yveltal and Ange. But how can that be?
It continues to stare at the heterochrom's aura. I can sense more from her, too. Xerneas and even a bit of Zygarde.
How is this possible, though? The bringer of terror doesn't understand. It has never encountered a human with this power before.
I don't know what you are, but I'll figure it out in time...
