I think the last elite raid were enamorus in 2024 or the rayquaza but some gyms still say elite raid gym.

Yeah everything I have heard of elite and ex raids is bad.

have you ever heard of the Pokémon tv Jirachi bonus disk hunt where for each reset you have to go multiple hours within a game to get a shiny Jirachi
Or the shiny manaphy egg in Pokemon diamond and pearl where you have to go to an event distribution get an egg but the egg while always have a different id to you than what would make it shiny so every attempt is hatching the manaphy egg if it’s not shiny soft reset your game then trade the egg to someone else
Or the glitched safari zone ratata but shiny to be able to get that you have to first preform a glitch to get into the safari zone

Also shiny hunting In gen 1 when you get the Time Machine in gen 2 you can go transfer gen 1 pokemon to gen 2 and if they have a id that would make them shiny you get them shiny in gen 2
Or the thing in gen 2 where you were locked out of getting certain unown forms shiny and pokemon with an uneven male to female ratio the shinys can only be 1 gender since both gender and shiny odds use same id back then
