Is it even worth making the best decks to climb to master?
Hear me out. There is nothing above master, besides besides ranking. Why isn't there a higher rank? Is there a language barrier? Are the developers lazy? They don't donseem to be making any changes to ranked and only release packs and ways to trade cards. I'm mad ranked is so ignored. Tournaments are getting shut down and we're wera way for me to gamble my time for a cash prize. Something there are communities built around. There are professional TCGP players and I hate all the devs not giving everything for competitive to be part of Worlds.
You might be asking "but who are you to ask for such things?" If the developers don't count the experience of a small voice like mine, then what hopes does Pokémon have as a brand?
let's get together as a player base and ask the creators like Ursiiday "what does it take to have tournaments?"

They know the player base is declining almost every single month... they likely trying to make as much money as they can before the game gets irrelevant and empty, and new packs are clearly the faster way to do it... that’s their focus, because that’s what paying players indirectly spend the money on.
