Signing in on here for the first time to express my outright disappointment with the state of this client. I migrated telling myself I’d be able to look past the egregious visuals as long as the game was playable but here we are. I certainly hope these issues are able to be resolved and upper management will put more care and consideration into their releases because as it is i don’t consider this client to be in a playable state fit for launch.

The real question is how the game was ever allowed to be put into beta. Given the state of the game, it should still be behind closed doors with in-house testing. Let it languish forever in development hell, just don't show the world.

In my humble opinion the way forward is to abandon all visual elements not directly connected to gameplay. For example, avatars and playfield animations. Get the gameplay mechanics working, then some time down the road get the visuals reworked. I would rather have an ugly, bare-bones client that actually works and lets me play the Pokemon TCG. Unfortunately we can see so much dev and design time was wasted on avatars, which are not only meaningless, but toxic and against the spirit of the game with the insulting end-game animations and phrases. It is simply not needed.

Please. If they banned every card that caused non-bug related shenanigans there'd be basically nothing left 😂
