It all depends on where you buy them. A lot of people can buy cards, put in cards that weren't there in the first place, or just custom design cards and mass produce them. Its sad that thats a way to make money

I'm not trying to accuse Smyths Toys of anything, because they could have bought what are called "resealed packs". What will happen quiet often on the secondary market is distributors will open packs, pull out cards worth money, and then replace the cards with fake cards or cheap cards, and "reseal" the pack which is a lot easier to do than you'd think.

I've been the victim of this in the past and see it happen a lot in my area. The gold texturing on the card picture you showed makes me believe that this card came from Temu, Shien, or Wish. It's possible Smyths Toys bought boxes of packs through one of those sites since their prices are really cheap, but unfortunately they are all resealed packs. I've bought boxes of cards off Temu/Wish in the past just because I find it funny and my nieces and nephews liked the cards regardless. But they aren't actually worth anything and are fake cards.

also… since the future is uncertain(I have a few screws loose) sell it to the first person who wants it(they don't need to wear a mask).
