is it just me or the rubber band trick does not work well. i only got 6 shiny pokemon for 16 hours of afk

(note my switch is slow so its more like 10 hours)

all im doing is going back and forth on the wild zone 3 stairs. and i know how it works but… all the youtube videos get like 20
