yep, I put together stuff that I like to use but doesn't fit a certain meta, I don't like being like everyone following the meta stuff

Some meta decks are actually fun to use tho like Tera toolbox

Feel the same, hate being forced to build a deck to handle the meta decks being used. An since thats what you go against 95% of the time, almost dont have a choice. I like to build my decks an use them. And i wont use alot of these decks commonly used. To easy an just dont get any satisfaction from winning with them.

I don't like meta decks because it's someone else's deck, it's not mine
I didn't make it so I have no connection to it, besides…deck building is part of the fun of TCGs. I have alot of free time so some of that time is spent looking at various pokemon cards and seeing their abilities and wondering how I can make a deck that works off of those abilities…and alot of them are not meta
I really really wish the word META never existed and people just used their own ideas rather then just go with "the easy win"

I think it's fine when you take little pieces of "meta" strategies in your deck, like Froslass and Munkidori for example, but not when you just copy and paste a deck and play exactly it
I believe the meta was supposed to inspire people to make decks with parts of it but instead they used the decks as they were, card for card, and that's where we're at now.
