New Professor Oak variation in Pokemon Blue

So I'm playing my Pokemon Blue save file like I have been, and I wanted to do the Ditto glitch to fight Professor Oak. I likely missed a step to fight him, and instead of getting his team I always see, he instead has two Pokemon: A level 29 Electrode and Weezing. I didn't think about screenshotting it, but I can do so if someone would like. Let me know if this has already been discovered or not.
