What? No more Dark Pokémon cards made anymore since Team Rocket Returns??? Why?

I knew that Dark Pokémon cards are the kind of Pokémon card variant introduced in the Pokémon TCG set of Team Rocket, the Pokémon cards that was brainwashed by Team Rocket upon middle and/or full evolutions. However, unfortunately, there hasn't been any kinds of Dark Pokémon cards made anymore ever since the TCG set Team Rocket Returns. Now I wonder why you think?

They always introduce mechanics that only last one generation, year, or even set. You could ask this question about a million things. Even the Dark Sylveon V above is a Pokémon V, which is a depreciated mechanic already no longer made even though it was introduced only about 4 years ago.

Yeah I mean Prism Stars are another one that haven’t returned—they’ve come close with Radiants, but they’re different.

Actually, two dark Pokémon cards were made in Celebrations: Dark Gyrados and Dark Sylveon V.

Well technically Dark Gyarados was just a reprint (like Shining Magikarp and all the other 26+/25 cards); it had already existed before being reprinted as a collectible in Celebrations.
