Maximum storage boxes

Now that the Pokémon series has over 1025 creatures, what would be more ideal for the maximum of storage boxes, 32 again or 40 like in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

Personally, I would like it if it goes to 4O. Feel free to share your feedback.

    I think the more boxes the better, especially for the recent trends of games with huge pokedexes and incentivizing catches. the only reason there are less boxes is probably to push you towards HOME

    I have over 10 full boxes in Violet despite not even finishing half of any Pokédex.

    I say 50 and also the ability to release eggs (or give them to a day care or nursery or school or whatever the next games will have) just in case I get bored of that full box of Rowlet or Froakie or something eggs that I'll never hatch.

    You mean boxes in like pokemon go? You seem misled to believe any game holds 1025 different pokemon

    Best to make 48 boxes to be the new maximum for pokemon boxes.
