What is your favourite Era of Pokémon?
For me I really like the DS and 3DS Era as I feel that the two console had games with really good Pokémon deigns. (Gen 4 introduced most of my favourite Pokémon)
Btw if you don't know what era your favourite game falls into, this is list should help you:
GB Era=Gen 1+2
GBA Era=Gen 3
DS Era=Gen 4+5
3DS Era=Gen 6+7
Switch Era=Gen 8+9

Its probably because I started pokemon on these games but the 3DS era. They had great pokemon, amazing graphics for the system, really good clothing, and a fun story line.

I will always have a soft spot for the first couple of gens, but the DS era was the peak of the franchise. Platinum, HGSS and BW. Most people cite at least one of them as among their favourites, if not their absolute favourite, and with good reason.

i think ds while 3ds had games like or/as and the under performing us/um but the ds era has back to back great games of platinum to hg/ss which only complaint it the level scaling, and the b/w into b2/w2 both of which are not only fantastic pokemon games but good games in general 3ds just has the anchor of x/y which are some of the weakest games in the entire series since g/s and the swtich has games that should be good but due to poor optimization, ungodly crunch time, and not enough dev time makes the games neigh unplayable outside of legends which unlike sword and shield which was an unfinished product on launch and s/v which is still an unfinished game that looks like an early ps2 game and is so broken that you'd think it wasn't play tested before it was launched

The last few parts of the DS era and the 3DS era. I don't feel like writing 10 paragraphs about how magical gens 5 to 7 were though.
But they had a really unique, special feeling to them, with games that had great and fun gameplay like XY (Lumiose City could be its own game with how fun it was), ORAS, BW2, and USUM, and games that had amazing stories like SM and BW.
