Can anybody help; not able to select which energies I want to discharge during mewtwo’s transfer bre

Since the new update, this seems to be a bug. I cannot select which energy I want to transfer when I use Mewtwo’s transfer break move. It’s very frustrating and has cost me a few games. A couple similar things have happened such as not being able to select which pokemon I want after using a great ball. This was not the case before the update and maintenance. Is anybody else having this problem?
