You mean the games would come out years apart in real life, or the story of each would take place years apart? Either way, it has not been done before. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but it's just new.

Bring back the different ride pokemon. The all in one was nice but the options from previous games was better in my opinion.

Ele-Dra/Gro-Dra, Genderless, Mount Pokemon (there are many mount pokemon, but at the start of pokemon Da/Du, you get this guy, while a cutscene plays of it evolving.)
The Mount Dragon Pokemon is it's category.
