Some of Ash's Pokémon now in rotation dropped out of his post-retirement anime work?

What if some of Ash's Pokémon that he had now in rotation were dropped out of his post-retirement anime work from OLM, Inc. because it was too difficult for the writers to fit all of his into it, as well as in all of the episodes from To Be a Pokémon Master sub-season? What do you think might happen?

    If I be left to my own device when it comes to OLM and the Pokemon Company. I would have Ash's Pidgeot to Accompany Ash and Pikachu. At the same time, I plan to have his journey continue even if it means retconning his world champ status all for the excuse to tie up some loose ends.
