Is there a valid reason for Pokémon Sleep to restrict its Friends feature to 18+ users only???

Is Pokémon Sleep secretly a dating app??? There is NO reason why adding friends to share sleep research and nothing else should be restricted to 18+ users only. Don’t input your real age into the game if you want all the features
