Formatting ex card submissions for the 2024 illustration contest

My apologies if this is outside of the forum's use but I am bit confused on the way to submit the card art for an ex card submission. For regular card art submissions I know its just the art in the required size and aspect ratio but for ex art its a bit more puzzling considering the nature of how much art on those cards goes outside of the border. My best guess is to just send in a flat image of the card art on the template, with elements of the card art already perfectly trimmed to fit around the template and not just the card art untrimmed without the template on it. My apologies for the awkward wording, I'm not sure how specifically they want ex card submissions to look like.
