Radiant Alakazam vs. Fusion Strike Energy

So, fusion strike energy says that: Prevent all effects of your opponent's Pokémon's Abilities done to the Pokémon this card is attached to. Radiant Alakazam says: Once during your turn, you may move up to 2 damage counters from 1 of your opponent's Pokémon to another of their Pokémon. So can alakazam move damage from or to a pokemon with a fusion strike energy? I have no idea where to even begin with this, because alakazam is using an ability on a genesect, but is it affecting the damage counters or The Pokémon?
