How rare is a wild Metagross in Pokemon Go?
So, I found a wild, non-shiny Metagross, which I caught in a few Ultra balls in Pokemon Go. Does anyone know how rare that is?

No. All I know is that it's exceedingly rare! When I saw screenshot posted on X by an avid Pokemon GO player, I was so surprised that I asked them if it was a Zorua and their buddy at its spawning moment was a Metagross. When they stated that their buddy was a Rayquaza by the time it spawned, I was even more surprised!
So yeah. What little I know about its rarity is that it's so rare it can surprise the average person!

I've only ever seen and caught one, and that was about two weeks ago on September 7th. No other wild Metagross before or after (yet), but it might start happening more often if it is one of the "Seasonal Pokemon found in the wild" for Adventures Abound.
