Opinions on Detective Pikachu (the game) and feelings about DP Returns?

What are your opinions on the Detective Pikachu game and feelings about Detective Pikachu Returns? I'm a big fan of the game, having played it on 2DS, but I know everyone has different opinions. Also, how excited/not excited are you for the sequel?

Reminder that the game came before the movie for those who don't know

I got to download the demo before the eShop closed, and I loved the vibe and music. The sequel's graphics aren't the best even though it's on Switch, but I'm a bit excited. Even though I only had the demo, the gameplay felt pretty interesting. Hopefully the game is good. I haven't played it since I finished it though so I might be misremembering how much I enjoyed it.

It all depends on how well the game turns out. That goes double for the mysterious sequel to the live action film.

great points, the vibe of the first game was really cool and unique and i really enjoyed that. the rest of the original doesnt disappoint, i gotta say.

again, great, so many games can have so muhc hype (or lack thereof) and then be great or bad when they come out, it will definitely be a good game but we'll just have to play it and see

@ajr1der Perhaps, but it's better the hedge your bets just in case.
