Are in-game shop decks worth buying as a new player?

As a just started player, just want some advice from any of you if buying a deck in the in-game shop is a worth spending of crystal or not. I already bought a premium pass and I will almost have no crystal left if I buy an LB deck. Cheers!

No - nothing in the shop is worth buying for crystals.

Crystals are very difficult to come by so you should save them for the next premium battle pass. The shop is basically a redundant feature with the current crystal economy.

Understood, but how would I get a powerful deck that I want to play, can you suggest?

@jon11w Big disagree. Yes, you do need to make sure to keep enough for the Battle Pass. The key however is not to buy for the cards, but for the credits.

If you have a full Celebrations set, buying the 6-pack bundle is very much worth it. Otherwise, the Inteleon League Battle Deck actually gives quite a few credits once you've bought it 3 times. I assume the Ice Rider one is similar.

You still need to build decks yourself though, rather than actually using any of the ones in the store.

@Bbrave how many crystals do you have? Be very wary of locking yourself of future premium battle passes as these are by far the best way to spend your credits.

Both of the decks on the battle pass - Zoroark and Arceus - can be made to be very competitive meta decks. I'd recommend you start there before committing to anything.

I'm assuming that you're a newer player and that you don't have the Celebrations set completed?

@TechHog@TechHog they said that they will have no credits left after buying a single League Battle Deck, yet your advice is to buy three of each of them? You assume that they have co pleated an entire set, yet they're struggling to pull together a meta deck. Please don't be so rash with your advice.

If you already have a set complete and I buy some packs with crystals, you get the credits if you don't reach the 200 pack limit or is only when you redeem codes

@Francko1091 It's a 400 code limit, and only for codes. Not relevant for a new player though.

@jon11w I got the premium battle pass already and 1300 crystals left. Just wondering, how do you guys build decks you want to play?. E.g., if I want to play a SS Urshifu deck.
