Banned/illegal cards

I'm having a hard time creating a deck, it keeps saying I have banned or illegal cards, is there a way, such as a symbol, I am missing that shows me which cards are banned?

If you're playing standard only cards with the E, F, and G mark (and all previous cards with the same effect) are eligible.
If you're playing expanded, they just haven't implemented cards from the X&Y and Black & White sets yet so you'll have to remove those cards until they are added.
