For those that don't know, the Sega Pico was an educational console meant for fairly young audiences. Despite Sega getting out of the console business with the end of the Dreamcast, the Sega Pico was handed over to Sega Toys, who supported it for quite a while longer. And because of that in Japan, the Sega Pico actually got some Pokemon games!
It feels especially ironic considering how Gamefreak used to be closely associated with Sega (think titles like Pulseman), so I think its neat that their flagship series found a weird way to continue that. The Sega Pico even has some Genesis / Mega Drive hardware in it!
