I would definitely choose Sprigatito evolved into Floragato because I like that it is still small enough to ride onto your shoulder and have a flower bud like a Yo-Yo as a weapon to use. The moves used for the flower bud Yo-Yo would be Leaf Blade or Seed Bomb? I am not sure if I would want Floragato to evolve into Meowscarda since it won't be small enough to ride on a shoulder anymore and gains additional weakness in Bug-Type moves due to Meowscarda being part Dark-Type.
All in all, Sprigatito and Floragato are soooo cute and adorable!

My pokemon partner for life would be a Rowlet then I will evolve it into Dartix the Decidueye. I imagine my bond with Rowlet to be like Ash and his Pikachu.

A Psychic or Ghost type pokemon would definetly be useful so Alakazam/Rotom or Sableye would help.
