Path to the peak with mew??
lately i keep seeing people running path to the peak in the fusion strike mew deck. WHY are you running that card in there. It blocks your own ability to set up?? why do that

Because it blocks important opponent cards like Drapion V, Chien Pao ex, Miraidon ex, mirror match and many other decks, also that deck has many resources to remove the Path of the Peak so it wont block its abilities in its turn.
It may not be the BDIF but it's still a strong deck even now, don't underestimate it.

Because you can get rid of it with worker to +3, and you can get rid of it with lost city.
It's important because like @DoubleCure said, the resources you deny your opponent totally outweigh the issue of it shutting you stuff off. Additionally, you have so much draw power in the deck that it's easy to gain HUGE card advantage, and then shut off your opponents abilities when you pass.
Sequencing is your friend! :)
