How do i play with older cards?
im trying to make a deck with a mix of some oldish cards and new cards and it says all of the slightly old cards are "banned". Am i missing something? because im sure that hippopotas isnt a broken card that needs to be banned... or are they segregating the sets now and i just cant use my old cards ever again. please help i miss my old cards ):

Cards from before Sun and Moon aren't playable in the game yet. You have to set the filter to "All" to see them, but you won't be able to use them in a deck for the foreseeable future.

Pokémon and many trainer cards with "D" regulation mark and also many cards before the regulation mark was introduced rotated out of Standard format, so to play those cards you have to build an Expanded deck and play it in the Expanded format.

Yes, you can't play those older cards from XY and Black & White series they are not yet playable, as they officially announced Expanded format will not be changed this year, so we will see what happens next year.

Because the team is understaffed and doesn't have the time or resources to make a complete experience. Maybe in 4-6 years.
