Why is Ting-Lu ex banned ?
I just opened TCG live this evening to see that I cannot play my favorite deck with Ting-Lu.
What is going on ?

Apparently some people were having issues when the card was being played.
I have been playing it since paldea evolved was released and I haven’t seen any issues with me or my opponents. I’m just as confused as you were.

It is likely some bug in regards to abilities that turn off other pokemon abilities. That is what the other cards that are currently banned do.

Using Penny to pick it up and then putting it back down and into the active gets you an auto-win.

It’s banned because PTCGL is a rushed, unfinished product that does not work. It’s a shameful representation of the card game and a step back from ptcgo.

Why don't they ban Penny then instead of banning all these cards until they fix it.
I hope they get this done ASAP. This is really annoying.

It's in case another way to trigger the bug is found, and there were other ways found.
