Hello everyone.
The Pokémon TCG Live game client will be updated on June 6th. The game will be offline starting at 8 AM PDT(15:00 PM UTC) and is estimated to be down for 8 hours. Please see below for the list of changes:
Features
- Added support for the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Paldea Evolved expansion.
- Updated certain menus and flows during the migration process.
- Updated some gameplay visual effects.
- Added error messaging in the Deck Editor when mixing alternate-art versions of a Pokémon V-UNION in a deck.
- Added visual feedback when a Pokémon's Ability prevents taking a Prize card for a Knock Out.
- Added animations for certain card movements during a match.
- Updated UI elements in the tutorial regarding relevant information.
- Improved code redemption errors for invalid codes.
Highlights
- Kirlia (SIT #068), Gardevoir (SIT #069): Fixed an issue where using Kirlia's Refinement Ability prevented Gardevoir from using the Refinement Ability on the same turn after evolving.
- Zoroark (EVS #103): Fixed an issue where the Phantom Transformation Ability was incorrectly able to select another Zoroark.
- Fixed an issue where mulligans showed Basic Pokémon.
- Fixed an issue where the Prize cards disappeared from play under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue in the Deck Editor where the owned card count occasionally showed more than the max limit.
Avatar
- Fixed an issue where avatars could equip clothing items that the player did not own.
Cards
- Fixed an issue where some cards in certain languages were missing portions of the card art.
- Manaphy (BSP #SWSH275): The additional effect of the Aqua Bullet attack now correctly does damage to a Benched Pokémon.
- Serperior VSTAR (SIT #008): The Regal Blender attack no longer prompts the player to move Energy when no targets are available.
Deck Manager/Editor
- Fixed an issue where searching for certain cards in the Deck Editor screen caused visual issues to occur.
- Fixed an issue where there was a character limit when searching cards.
Gameplay/Battle
- Fixed an issue where the Evolution sound effect played for the opponent's Pokémon even when sound was muted.
- Fixed an issue where certain game-board transitions were not playing.
- Fixed an issue during a match where the player could not switch between pages on the Global Status Effect filters.
General
- Fixed an issue where occasionally, when navigating through menus, the top navigation bar disappeared.
Matchmaking
- Fixed an issue in the match results where the win/loss condition was not displayed.
Tutorial (FTUE)
- Fixed an issue where certain actions during the tutorial could cause the client to become unresponsive.
