Timer while deciding Active Pokemon

So I've noticed that when choosing to promote a new Pokemon after being KOd that the timer doesn't stop. It appears that the timer still ticks down for the player who just took the KO. I mean the 15 second warning still comes up after a bit but I think the timer should switch to the player promoting or at the very least pause all together.
