How do you counter Mew / Genesect as a F2P player?
I have many cards and run other meta decks, like lugia, miraidon EX, lost box, etc. but I have a friend who started playing because his son is interested, and they’re being crushed on the ladder.
Without spending much, or any, money what do you run to have a hope against Mew? I told him to just buy the battle decks and run it himself but he doesn’t want to.

Play lost zone Kyogre and never attack into a mew. Ko a genesect and then aqua storm 2 more to end the game.

Without spending too much money, you can buy code cards on TCGPlayer, Troll and Toad, w/e. They're so cheap, and you'll get enough currency to run something more meta. Those starter decks have such a hard time against anything even remotely competitive, but for $20 you can pretty easily fill out a deck or two.
